IR-Enhanced Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS)
Problem: Critical latency in identifying driver cognitive load and microsleep episodes leads to avoidable L2+ disengagements.
Solution: We deploy Near-Infrared (NIR) Computer Vision pipelines utilizing temporal Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Gaze-Transformers. These models detect periorbital changes and head-pose deviations even in low-light conditions or through polarized eyewear.
Data Sources: NIR video streams, biometric pulse-oximetry, steering torque sensors.
Integration: Seamless interface with AUTOSAR-compliant Cockpit Domain Controllers (CDC) via High-Speed CAN or Ethernet.
